About Us

Jeremiah Seraphine, Principal Consultant

Hello! I’m an entrepreneurial product and growth leader who has driven successful outcomes at startups, agencies, and large enterprises alike.

I’m co-founder and VP of Product of Empwr.ai, an AI-native project assistant platform that helps teams work faster with less overhead. Enterprises in the CPG, automotive, apparel, and technology industries rely on Empwr.ai.

I spent three years at Envorso working as a Senior Consultant and Entrepreneur-in-Residence, where I worked on a software org transformation project for one of the world’s premier automotive OEMs and shepherded Empwr.ai from concept to corporate spin-out.

Recently, I served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Software Officer at Ford Motor Company where I helped manage an 8K+ person global software team.

In 2021, I was embedded in the largest light industrial staffing marketplace in the United States as a product management and growth leader. I worked closely with the Chief Product Officer to establish a modern product management organization, built roadmaps for the product portfolio, and established a martech and growth stack built on the Segment CDP. Notable outcomes included an exit to a large private equity firm, the establishment of a modern product management organization, and significant incremental revenue gains attributable to the new marketing tech stack.

In late 2020, I worked with the CEO of the Los Angeles-based start-up PathMatch to run through David Bland and Alex Osterwalder's "Testing Business Ideas" framework. In less than six months, PathMatch's subscription business was established and ARR shot from zero to more than $400K.

Prior to PathMatch, I served as the VP of Product for Vokal, an innovation and growth consultancy, where I led a team of Product Managers and Product Growth Managers to serve clients like AAR, Bosch, HAVI, Lou Malnati's Organization, American Hospital Association, American Medical Association, Parking.com, SpotHero, Chamberlain, the Relish Works Food Innovation Hub, and more. I drove key outcomes for the portfolio of clients and the agency. Additionally, I founded the growth practice at the firm, establishing a durable new revenue stream that continues to grow.

I also worked with the co-founders of the Desire Company to pivot the business from a universal wish list website to its current business model—a product recommendation platform powered by athletes, models, musicians, and other influencers. Within a year, the team closed crucial first customers Roc Nation and Eastbay/Footlocker and raised millions of dollars in Seed funding. The business is still thriving and raised a Series B in 2024.

I began my career in product as the CEO of Groovebug, an early music streaming startup I co-founded in the Northwestern University NUvention Web program. Groovebug won the 2011 demo day and we went on to raise capital from an all-star group of angel investors. We were accepted to be part of the first cohort at Chicago's award-winning 1871 tech incubator. Groovebug released a series of award-winning iOS music streaming applications through partnerships with Blue Note / EMI, Universal Music Group, and Wolfgang's Vault. Blue Note’s app was even featured in an international outdoor ad campaign for the iPad Mini.

I earned my Master’s in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University and live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
